There
is much more to the Super-Dew first meets the eye.
The
“Super Dew” can be connected by ordinary t/v cable, to a Shaw moisture
sensor, from a remote site up to half a mile distant. Simple, compact
and reliable, it is used world wide, for spot checks or continuous moisture
indication in still or flowing air or gas. Two alarm or control settings
are easily set by the user and provide instant alarms on the large LCD
illuminated back lit dial and on the green and red signal lamps.
Model
SDG has a practical dew point range of - 80 which is less than one part
per million of water vapour up to saturation moisture levels in room
air. The superb performance depends on the unique Shaw sensors, which
have a built in accuracy and a linear response to dry dew point at room
temperature. The Shaw modified molecular sieve moisture sensors as connected
to the “Super Dew SDG. Have 100 times the dry capacitance of other moisture
in very dry air or gas. They are gold plated with gold filters and 20
years life. The two years guarantee is an indication of the quality
of these gems of the moisture sensor world which have the world’s largest
moisture sensor sales. Subject to ISO 9002.

need for a hygormeter in dry air or gas.
Simply
connect the two wire sensor lead to the computer and for accurate calibration,
set 20 mA on the computer, that’s it

the sensor in room air, Shaw Automatic Calibration has entered the range
of -80 deg c which is less than 1 part per million of water vapour, to

Easily
portable, and ready for spot checks or continuous use, this battery
powered hygormeter indicates both dew point temperatures and parts
per million of water vapour on the large meter dial. Calibration
is accurate for different gases as the reading is specific to water
vapour. Certified intrinsically safe.
The self extending head allows up to a flow of 20 litres a minute
for clearing the air supply pipe work without wetting the test chamber,
Automatic Dry down ensures quick response from the sensor. Note
the absence of knobs, calibrating, cooling, and servicing as required
by some other methods. The heart of the meter is a Shaw molecular
sieve moisture sensor with a gold internal filter and gold plated
exterior, a jewel of a sensor in fact!
So simply to use-with an air flow. The head (test chamber) extends
by blocking the outlet with a finger for a moment. One second response
time from dry to wet (99%) accuracy is guaranteed to better than
one part in a million of moisture in vey dry air or gas.
Easily
checked with room air on a few seconds by means of the Shaw Automatic
Calibration feature, flow rate has no effect. The standard model
SADPG has a range from one part in a million of moisture to room
air.
Each SADP hygrometer has three weeks of daily laboratory checks
at Bradford, subject to stringent ISO9002 quality control an is
traceable to NPL (Sira). Every meter is CE marked and is certified
